forever bronze

The late François-Xavier Lalanne's masterpieces are seriously one of my all time obsessions.  His surrealist mostly bronze sculptures (and my personal favorite made-you-like-twice sheep) are the most shockingly bizarre pieces I can imagine.  His later collaborations with his artistic wife Claude Dupeux only further enhanced their never-ending creativity.  And did you know that the bronze dinosaurs on the Santa Monica Promenade are his very creation, as well?  I could pretend I did, but in fact, that was news to me.

So my goal is to swindle together my next living room with this incredible surrealist bar and then have some friends lounge on the flock of sheep accents while we chat about all of life's craziness.

Sounds like a night to remember.
