turquoise tufting

A favorite haunt for West Hollywood lunches, Cecconis offers some of my favorite design elements: velvet tufting, antique mirrored bathrooms, marble contrasting floors, and bar stools that look like they were just rescued from a shipwreck.  Lovely.

a real hermès horse

Better than window shopping, I could waste an afternoon exploring Hermès: j'aime mon carrè {i love my scarf}

Hermès gal Ella is shamelessly honest in her quest:

If a Hermès box arrived at your house, what would you like in it?
"A real Hermès horse."

{his books are like jewelry}

I recently discovered brilliant artist Louisxxx and have fallen for every one of his pieces.  Simple, sweet, and just the amount of purity that it feels real.  His books are my favorite to sift through on a rainy day.

I don't know what it is about the holidays, but they seem to warrant a little decadence. After indulging in Marie Antoinette over the cool weathered weekend, I couldn't help but explore my own imaginary masquerade.  French Vogue featured the photo shoot Bal masque in their October issue, and I'm honestly a little offended I wasn't invited to the launch party, similarly themed.
