quite the treat

A furniture designer that I obsess over: Elizabeth Paige Smith.  Not only are her pieces to-die-for-insanely-unique, but many have the casual touch of colorful-toned powder, combined with simple acrylic shapes, that you're left to wonder: "Why the heck don't I own one of these yet??"

And if you have a kitten friend at home, you must check out her Kittypod line.  Tops the list as the chicest choice for a fancy scratching post.

my cup of tea

Forever topping my "In Your Sweet Dreams" wish list is this amazing Fornasetti gold-tipped teapot:

After commissioning a Mr. Fornasetti dining table for a recent client, I've pretty much stalked every one of Piero's designs.  There is something so eerily quirky, humorous, and a tad inappropriate, about his work. Just peek at his website and tell me that you aren't obsessed.

Unable to completely resist, I brought Fornasetti to our own home with his Mediterranea wallpaper-scape in our bathroom:

So, until the day arrives when I can spoil myself with fancy Fornasetti tea parties, I just might indulge in his new candle collection (hello Barneys iloveyou).
