I know I've featured work by Louis Cannizzaro before, but his just launched "Pieces of Heaven" series has me in love with his newest works. And even more sweet, this was recently auctioned at The Art of Elysium for a great cause: proceeds went to children who are battling serious medical conditions.

a bright glimpse
It seems like pattern and color and making their way from the hanger to the home. And I'm in love with everything. First, Diane Von Furstenburg wowed us with her hot homeware collection using bright patterns, colors, and shapes in dishware and bedding. Spring party planning, anyone? And then I stumbled upon Anthro's new line of Ikat bedding which now almost has me convinced that Missoni has exploded onto their scene.
Swoon.

our favorite toilet
Today we were invited to do a testimonial interview with the insanely innovative Japanese company INAX, and then treated to a delicious authentic lunch with their team. For a recent project, our chic Marina del Rey client saw what many don't in a toilet: that it should be fabulous too. We were lucky enough to be the very first purchasers stateside for their just launched Regio toilet (I know using "lucky" in the same sentence as "toilet" sounds bizarre, but trust me on this one). A mod streamlined design, with all the bells and whistles that one could ever imagine (opens automatically, and really, everything automatically; bidet; deodorizer; custom lighting; and can even be programmed with music to play when it's in use). If there was such a thing as a "favorite toilet", this would be mine.
Stay tuned for the full interview next week...
